Ministries

Pilgrim Church has a strong and vibrant ministry that reaches a broad segment of our church members and friends.  In addition we minister to our wider community through an active series of Outreach commitments.

Led by  Reverend Glover Wagner, the scope of our ministry also seeks to incorporate the ideas and energies of the congregation.  Jeffrey at CROP Walk There are many opportunities to participate as we work as one to fulfill our Mission. Whether you are interested in programs for children, youth, adults, or perhaps all three, you will find information on our ministries here.

Our ministries at Pilgrim are modeled on the example of Jesus who was a prophet, a teacher, and a healer.  We are engaged in intentional spiritual formation through our Church School and adult offerings.  Our curriculum seeks to be interactive and engage our young people with questions and dialogue.

Our adult programs seek to channel the spiritual light of enlightened individuals on the spiritual landscape.  Through group experiences we support one another, engage the given text in conversation and listen to each other’s reflections.

We have an active caregiving and mission outreach at Pilgrim.  In addition to being present to Pilgrim people through our Called to Care and Social Justice Teams we seek to respond to individuals and groups in our community that need assistance.  Through Our Christian Wider Mission, Heifer Project, International  One Great Hour of Sharing and the Child Sponsorship Program we seek to be a presence beyond our borders.

A celebrative ministry at Pilgrim has been our presence in an ecumenical community called the Power of We.  Through our cooperation with Congregation Beth Shalom and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bozeman we offer a Wisdom School, a yearly retreat featuring a spiritual voice, and forums on current social justice issues.
