Only Enthusiasm is Required
The Groovin’ Women Choir (Scroll down for schedule & details), led by Kate Bryan, welcomes women of all ages and abilities. You don’t have to sight-read music, be a member of Pilgrim, or even be a great singer or haven any prior experience. There is also not a “long-term commitment” required to sing with this choir (just come when it works for you. To join us, you just need a desire to have some fun, sing a little and get to know some really spirited women!
The Groovin’ Women typically sing three (3) times a year (Fall/Winter/Spring). Women come and go depending on their schedules and children are welcome at rehearsal (so that Moms can sing!). The Groovin’ Women perform a variety of music including gospel, folk and R&B. We usually begin with a potluck to get familiar with the music followed by additional rehearsals. Singers can then take CD’s home with them to practice the words and tunes. The choir is often accompanied with guitars, drums and/or a piano–whatever the arrangement requires– and we occasionally sing acappella. If you have INTERESTED in or have QUESTIONS about the choir or the next time we sing, contact Kate Bryan at Ph/Txt: 406-570-2839 or Email her at KateBryan2000@gmail.com and she’ll put you on the Groovin’ Women email list.
