A valuable aspect of Pilgrim’s mission is caringLois Ringo and Peggy Hanzlik for members of the congregation.  As a church, we seek to celebrate the joys of our  members and friends as well as to be present for the sorrows that may occur. Part of this important outreach comes from our Called to Care Committee, which provides home and hospital visits, along with cards, flowers and meals.

Our church also sets aside time during each Sunday morning worship service to pray for those in need of assistance.   With the congregational words, “Hear Our Prayer Oh Lord,” we endeavor as one to send prayers to God.  Such prayers are also enhanced by the volunteers who make up the Prayer Chain.  These dedicated men and women take their personal devotional time to pray for those in need among Pilgrim’s family and they also join in thanking God in times of joy.  If you wish to request a special prayer during a Sunday service or if you wish to notify the Prayer Chain of your prayer needs, you may use this website to make a prayer request.

Another important part of Pilgrim’s commitment to nuturing and caring comes from Pastoral Counseling.   Rev. Glover Wagner devotes time each month to personal counseling sessions with individuals and families who seek guidance and support.  These sessions are spiritual in nature, but they are also about listening and working through the difficult problems that beset us all from time to time.  To make an appointment for a counseling session, please contact the church office at the number listed in the footer of this page.
