Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ and The American Indian Institute of Bozeman is honored to sponsor a presentation by lawyer, human rights activist and author Sherri Mitchell.
Mitchell is a member of the Penobscot Nation and the founding director of the Land Peace Foundation, an organization dedicated to the global protection of Indigenous rights and the preservation of the Indigenous way of life. She speaks around the world on issues of Indigenous rights, environmental justice and spiritual change. Mitchell will be reading from and discussing her newly released, highly acclaimed book, Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change.
Those seeking greater peace in today’s challenging world, as well as in their own lives, won’t want to miss Mitchell’s message...how Native American decision-making, spirituality and wisdom can help heal our planet and provide “a road map for the spirit and a compass of compassion for humanity."
