OUTDOOR CONCERT - Dos Mayos (Tana and Rich Mayo)
Dos Mayos delights their audiences with unique arrangements of Latin, Jazz, Blues and Americana music spanning decades as well as genres. Their distinctive style with tight instrumental and vocal blends makes Dos Mayos a “stand out” among professional musicians and entertainers throughout the region.
Tana Mayo, a gifted vocalist, flutist and percussionist, has a passion for Jazz and Blues which evolved through years of performing with Jazz and Swing bands. Her influences vary as much as the music she performs. They include Natalie Cole, Herbie Mann, Diane Schuur, Alison Krauss and the list goes on. Her style, however, is uniquely her own.
Rich Mayo, a consummate entertainer with unbelievable stylistic versatility, is an exceptional guitarist, vocalist and harmonica player. Rich has performed coast to coast with many great musicians and groups. He has spent years writing and arranging music and has logged countless hours in recording studios. Although he has crossed many genres in his career, today he plays stylistically what he loves the most.
Dos Mayos’ energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Once you experience them you will certainly be among the growing number of fans who eagerly await to see and hear them play again! Come at 5:30 with a picnic basket and a chair or blanket and enjoy some music and fellowship for the last Concert on the Lawn of the season.
